The Sinha Homoeopathic Medical, College & Hospital came into existence on 10th April 1929.

The Second Oldest Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital in India College changed the name of the present college name by adding Dr. YADUBIR (Because this institution was founded & established by Dr. Yadubir Sinha) & Hence Now the College will be known as- Dr. Yadubir Sinha Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Laherisarai, Darbhanga.

The College is situated in the heart of Mithilanchal, in Darbhanga Town Commisionery, where it is A great need felt by the local citizens. The College imparts the B.H.M.S. (Degree) Course is regulated by “The Central Council of Homoeopathy. Permitted by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health, Family welfare, Govt. of India.

I am greatly indebted to the Honable Members of the Governing Body of the college, under whose guidance I have been able to run the institution to my best knowledge & efficiency Since the post of the Principalship has been conferred upon me by them

The name of the College has changed. Now, the name of the college is DR. YADUBIR SINHA HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL. The main aim of the college is to hearing revolutionary changes into eh systems of treatment & Homoeopathic Science. It tries it best to produce qualified doctors in Homoeopathic field so that they may serve the ailing humanity in India & abroad. The College is well managed by its own Managing Committee it has highly qualified & efficient teaching staff it is well equipped with up to date, Library laboratory, operation - theatre, quotable appliances, furniture, well & attractive double storied building & office. The college avails the facility of indoor and outdoor Hospital, were the patients are benefited to a large scale patients also avail the Surgical treatment here. Thus this is an unique institution & the, locality has the feeling of satisfaction being the institution in the centre of Darbhanga. I feel Pride in announcing that teachers of this college are involved in other academic activities for enrichment of their academic career such as research work and publication, organising seminars and attending orientation course and refresher course. The institution tries to develop by leaps and bounds under the able guidance of the Managing Committee & the Principal himself it further tries to import higher education & research were in the field of Homoeopathy so that it will prove itself as an asset for the locality. Lastly, I must thank the professors, Lecturers students and other staff of the college for their full co-operation to me in all respet. I presume, the day is not far behind when this institution will attain the top most rank in Homoeopathic Science throughout the Country by dint of its efficient teachings, good arrangements for Hospital & Library studies & all other facilities which are required for an institution of our cadre. What else is wisdom ? What of man's endeavour or God's high grace, so lovely and so great ? To stand from fear set free, to breathe and wait, To hold a hand uplifted over Hate, and shall not loveliness be loved for ever.
